Stephanie is an Australian trained Osteopath, and graduated in 2010 from the University of Western Sydney. She is passionate about her work and views Osteopathy as a way of living, a way of seeing the world, and a way of caring for others.
For the last 20 years, she has been practicing and learning about different therapeutic hands-on approaches, which she integrates into her osteopathic practice.
Stephanie’s way of practicing osteopathy is underpinned by a strong philosophical view about what health is about: health is not the absence of symptoms, but a state of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance. And so, Health becomes a choice, a lifestyle; and it is multi-dimensional. Osteopathy can help you feel empowered by understanding that body and mind are strongly interrelated. Health is not a simple mechanical affair.
Osteopathy complements allopathic medicine. Osteopathy is not an alternative. It offers a holistic vision of health: osteopathic touch has an impact on the patient as a whole.
Stephanie focuses on helping you treat the cause of your presenting problem, favoring cranial, myofascial, visceral, articulation, muscle energy, and stretches techniques. She believes in prevention, and multi-disciplinary approach whenever is necessary, especially with chronic conditions.
Osteopathy is open to all age groups, from newborn, mum to be, to elderly. Her special interest is… YOU, whoever you are, and, whatever is your reason to come and see me.
