The pelvic floor has an important role in urogynaeological health, respiration and spinal/postural stability. Pelvic floor problems can affect these functions. Pelvic floor weaknesses can be caused by pregnancy, birth, obesity, age, chronic increases in abdominal pressure and a sedentary lifestyle.

You may have a pelvic floor issues if you have any of the following symptoms;

In Pregnancy

  • Lower back pain
  • Sacroiliac pain and instability
  • Hip or groin pain
  • Stress or urge urinary incontinence
  • Neck or thoracic back pain
  • Coccyx pain
